Counseling provides a safe space where thoughts, fears, and other feelings of distress can be voiced and explored without judgment.


Traditional talk therapy techniques will be tailored to the individual client’s needs and goals. Such techniques may includecognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) – exploring thinking that effects one’s emotions and behavior; psychodynamic theories – looking deeper into repressed feelings or emotions; mindfulness techniques – focusing on the here and now experience; and trauma-informed treatment approaches. A combination of various techniques will help clients reach new levels of insight into their lives and relationships with others, helping to ease distress and regulate emotions.
